For cosmetic preparations, it can only be used in diluted compositions (0,5-2%).

For perfume blends, cedarwood essential oil can be used as a base note in combination with other top and middle notes, as well as adding fragrance to soaps and candles.

Popular uses:
– By itself: Apply 1-2 drops on wrists, shoulders, temples or neck. Always dilute in carrier oil to prevent skin sensitivity.
– Mix with a carrier oil: mix a tablespoon of a vegetable-based carrier oil (e.g. jojoba, sweet almond oil, etc) with 5 drops of essential oil. Massage the desired area.
– Bath: add a mix of 3 cups of bath salts and 8 drops of cedarwood essential oil.
– Shower: after a 3-minute hot shower, apply 5-7 drops of essential oil in the palm of your hand and apply to skin (avoid the face).
– Diffused: follow the instructions of your diffuser manufacturer. Typically, diffuse 8 drops of essential oil.
– Deodorizer: dilute 15 drops of essential oil in 60ml of water and store in spray container.
Other uses (inspiration):
Hair loss treatment: blend 5 drops of each essential oil: cedarwood, rosemary, lavender and oregano with 8 teaspoons of olive oil. Gently massage on hair and scalp.
